PreS-Gr 2-Gabby and her cat friends are from the children's show Gabby's Dollhouse, where she uses her imagination to become the size of the cats and they have many adventures. The night before Christmas, Gabby and her cat friends DJ Catnip and Pandy decorate the Dollhouse. As they wait for Christmas to arrive, Gabby gets a phone call from the North Pole. It's Figgy the Elf requesting her help in packing toys for Santa Kitty. Gabby arrives at the North Pole with Pandy and another cat, Baby Box, just in time to help with making and packing toys. Pandy puts together a scuba kitty toy, Gabby puts together a doll, and Figgy the Elf puts together a robot. When they are all done, Figgy leads them to the gift boxes for each toy. They add the toys to Santa Kitty's sleigh for delivery to all the nice kids, kittens, and cats, and Santa Kitty asks if Gabby and Pandy will help him deliver gifts to the Dollhouse. With bright, colorful Christmas colors and big font for young, eager readers, this story will be a great bonus for those familiar with the show and an introduction to the characters for those who are not.
