Рассказ «Шаги за спиной» – самый странный, пожалуй. Это единственный мой рассказ за последние десять лет, который я не смог никуда пристроить. Отказались все периодические издания, с которыми я постоянно сотрудничаю, и не потому, что рассказ показался им плохим. Рассказ «не вписывался» ни в один номер, смущенно объясняли мне, и я не могу не согласиться.Ну что ж, рассказ этот странный, рассказ-настроение, рассказ-эскиз, но мне он нравится.
