《雍正劍俠圖》又稱《童林傳》，該書大概以八卦掌祖師董海川爲原型，同時受到清中葉以來流傳于民間的雍正改昭篡位、結交綠林、被刺等故事啓發，塑造出童林這壹書膽人物。講述康熙末年，京南霸北童家莊童林童海川誤傷老父，出走江西，受高人傳授，十五年晝夜苦功、習得『柳葉綿絲磨身掌』絕藝，奉師命下山『另興壹家武術』。京城偶遇雍親王胤禛（後來的雍正皇帝），做了武術教師，卻因初涉江湖得罪綠林。
